TMT signed contract with Citepe for polyester filament spinning and texturing plant in Brazil through Sojitz corp. in March 2009, which will be a part of petrochemical complex of Citepe in Suape, formed by PTA, PET resin and filament yarn.

By use of accumulated best technology, TMT will manufacture and install 18 lines of spinning machines for POY/FDY and 64 machines of draw texturing machine for DTY. It will be the largest Polyester filament plant with capacity of 180,000 ton/year in South America, which is scheduled to start up in second half of 2010.
